Activities and NDIS Support Charges

Participate Australia provides skilled workers to support you with your needs when attending group activities. Each activity you book will incur an hourly NDIS support charge from your NDIS package, based on the level of support you require.

Some activities also have an Activity Fee, which is used to pay for resources or entry to an activity. For example, if you attend a bowling activity, we may charge an Activity Fee to pay for your game of bowling. This fee cannot be charged to your NDIS package.

We also suggest ‘Spending Money’ which is your personal money you can bring to an activity to pay for your own expenses such as food, drink or other purchases. We will not take this money from you, but our friendly staff can help you manage your money if required.

Once you book into your activities, a member of our team will be in touch to organise a quotation and agreement for your NDIS supports.

Our mission is to help our participants to gain more independence, develop valuable life skills, and to foster greater community engagement through the Inner West. Participate Australia is a person centred planning provider, and we work with all our participants to ensure they achieve the outcomes and goals important to them.

Extending Support to Carers & Family

Recognising the indispensable role of families and caregivers in supporting individuals with disabilities, the NDIA advocates their active involvement in NDIS planning. Riverlink goes a step further, extending support programs like Carers Breaks, Carer’s Special Activities, and Mind Yourself. These programs offer caregivers respite, equip them with relaxation techniques, and foster connections with fellow caregivers.

NDIS supports

We support people with disability to live the life they want, focusing on their individual needs and goals.

As an approved NDIS provider, we can offer support coordination, in home and community supports and centre-based supports. We assist people of all ages, including children, and our services cover Western Sydney, the Inner West and other parts of Sydney and NSW.

Our team of highly skilled, qualified, and friendly support staff excel in helping participants achieve their NDIS goals. Our staff come from diverse backgrounds and language groups and many have lived experience of disability.

We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for people from all backgrounds, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Support Coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to: Understand and use you NDIS plan to pursue your goals. Connect you with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services. Build your confidence and skills to use and coordinate your supports. We provide Support Coordination (Level 2) and Specialist Support Coordination (Level 3) services.
